The Math and Science Adventure Camp targets learners that are about to take their matric examinations in South Africa at Grade 12.
To be held on 21-28 June 2026 at various camping sites across the 9 provinces of South Africa.
The cost of each learner’s five-day Maths and Science Adventure Camp is R3,500. Prior to the commencement of the matric 2026 final exams, all registered students will have access to our specialised chat app programme and website for continuous information and support. Users can download the Champing Support app from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The learning materials will be available to those who paid to attend the camp for free; however, learners who were not there will have to buy the same learning materials from the website or download supplementary materials from the Champing website.
Only EFT and card payments via our website or the customised app are accepted.
Accommodation, meals, study materials, access to experienced educators and tutors, hands-on experiments, and all activities and workshops planned are all part of the camp fee.
Champing regards the safety and welfare of all participants as paramount. We shall have trained personnel on the ground, first-aid facilities, strict supervision protocols in place, and emergency procedures ready in case something goes amiss. All activities are conducted with safety as a top priority.

We do not currently provide financial help, but you are welcome to follow us on social media and subscribe to our newsletter to get updates in the event that we receive funding from sponsors to assist students who meet the prerequisites.
While parents are generally not allowed to visit during the camp to ensure a focused environment for participants, we do organize an open day at the end of the camp where parents can visit and see what their children have accomplished.
Participants should bring personal items such as clothing, toiletries, any necessary medications, and study materials. A detailed packing list will be provided upon registration.
Our camps are staffed by experienced educators, tutors, and facilitators who are experts in their fields. Additionally, there will be camp counselors and support staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
We maintain a low staff-to-camper ratio to ensure individual attention and support for each participant. The specific ratio may vary depending on the camp, but we strive to provide ample supervision.
